Mobile S.M.A.R.T repairers say they can repair alloy wheels 90% on the vehicle with tyres fitted. NOT if you want a proper repair the tyre needs to come off the wheel (you need the lacquer to cover the wheel not to the edge of the tyre or the lacquer will peel back). We purchased a machine called the Wheel Doctor. It takes the tyre off the rim, then you can machine the scuffs and fill deep marks. The machine will restore the rims for polished wheels like BMW M3 or Audi A8. All wheels are then sprayed in our spray booth with a low bake oven for a quality repair. We have a selection of test cards for different silvers, also chrome on black or if you want we will paint your wheels any colour of your choice. If your wheels are badly corroded they will need to be sand blasted, adding an extra day to the job but the result will be worth it. We use top quality lacquers to finish the job.
